Late join (1 week left) to the Summer Slow Jams 2023: Idle's submission on my own.

Objective (if you don't want to read the rest)

Clean dino footprints with your cursor or by buying 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12-legged dogs in the shop. You get paid in treats and get a boost when the floor is 99.99% clean.

Context

You are paid by the government to erase dinosaurs footprints to prevent the world from believing they exist. Except you get paid in dog treats...

So you can hire four-or-more-legged dogs to work for you. They consume one treat per run so keep a good amount of treats in your pockets or they won't want to run anymore.

You can buy power ups in the mutation SHOP (on the left) and buy dogs that will clean the floor for you (also at the bottom). The 12-legged dog can't be bought, but you have a 20% chance of getting one by buying a random dog.

Why the wouf are there more-than-four-legged dogs?

The creative theme of Summer Slow Jams 2023: Idle is "Mutation" so I went for dogs with more legs... Because why not, right? And it should be an idle game, that's like Cookie Clicker or Trash the Planet (try it) where you can idle while the game is running.

Credits

The art was made by me, myself, and I, using Figma. And I made the dogs in Blender 🤗. The game was built using Godot 4.0.3.

The music track comes from FMA and is "Lonely Mission" by Shalbora. It's distributed under CC BY-NC-ND license, and I compressed the track using FreeConvert.
